Architecturally distinctive and environmentally sensitive, each Paradigm Property was created with safety and comfort as our guiding principles. –Paradigm Properties
Our inventory of campus properties have a range of features for all budgets and are designed for the student in mind. Did you know that many of our properties have also been designed to be environmentally sustainable?
We have also partnered with Paradigm Properties to manage a unique set of urban living environments near the University of Oregon campus including Indigo Place, Kokanee Place, The Prefontaine and the Steelhead Townhouses.
These buildings are unique in nature. They feature distinguished Northwest Urban architecture that makes them stand out from among the rest. Their properties are not only modern and stylish, they are designed to be environmentally sustainable. From large windows to solar panels to improved indoor air quality, Paradigm Properties promote green living.
Some of the notable characteristics of these buildings include:
- Reduced travel time and emissions (every property is located close to campus)
- Safe Bicycle Storage
- Lower energy bills
- Abundant natural light
- Whole house ventilation system for better indoor air quality
Indigo Place and Kokanee Place have received Earth Advantage certification in recognition of the many sustainable features of these properties. Earth Advantage certifies, researches, educates, and incubates to help realize a building industry that harmonizes with the natural environment. The program promotes more sustainable homes for a public increasingly interested in energy efficiency and healthier residences.
The standard is based on achieving required points on a scoring sheet covering five categories — energy efficiency, healthy indoor air quality, resource efficiency, environmental responsibility, and water conservation – earned over the course of two verification visits.
